Open Day Hosts

The Mitchell family, George, Valerie, Nicola, Alexander and Steven, from the 200-cow Edenordinary Herd, Banbridge, are gearing up to host Holstein NI's 4th annual charity open day on Saturday 4th May from 11am.


Thursday, 13th June - HYB Stockjudging Practice and Linear Competition, Bolton Famiy's Carrickfarm Herd, 7 Ballinacross Road, Magherafelt, Co Londonderry, BT45 8QQ - 7.45pm

Tuesday 18th June - NI Holstein Young Breeders' Club stockjudging and linear competition, at the Henry Family's Mostragee Herd, 17 Ballykenver Road, Stranocum, Ballymoney, County Antrim, BT53 8PZ - 7.45pm.

Saturday, 7th September - 17th annual Multi-Breed Dairy Calf Show, Dungannon Farmers' Mart - show 10am.

Friday 18th to Sunday 20th October - All Breeds All Britain Calf Show, East of England Arena, Peterborough.


Banbridge farm event to raise funds for three local charities

Three local charities are set to benefit from the proceeds of Holstein NI’s 4th annual Open Day on Saturday 4th May. Friends of the Cancer Centre, Cancer Fund for Children, and the Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology at Queen’s University Belfast, have been nominated by this year’s host farmers, the Mitchell family from the 200-cow Edenordinary Herd based at Banbridge, County Down.
